MC Oct/15 - Christmas Candles - Happy Chanukah

I love this Holly Frame die set. One of my newest acquisitions... So pretty.

I cut and fold my white cardstock to create a 5"w x 7"h card. Opened the card up and placed my die so that it was about 1/16" over the folded edge, taped it down. Placed it on my cutting plates so the folded edge was just hanging off the plate edge (no pressure there when it goes through the machine therefore it won't cut...). Ran through my machine and then sponged with Distress "Mowed Lawn". Removed from die. Dried the sponged areas.

Stamped the "Christmas Candlelights" (Elizabeth Craft Designs) using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Colored with Prisma colored pencils and then blended with Gamsol. Applied Quickie Glue to the candles and sprinkled with green glitter. Applied the glue to the snowflake and sprinkled with Stickles dry glitter "Star Dust". Applied white Enamel Accent dots to the berries.

Stamped the sentiment with the black and clear embossed.

Added faux stitching around the edge using a Copic black pen. Added a black/silver Sari ribbon bow.

On the inside: Cut a frame a little wider than the holly frame border from gold glitter paper (Recollections) and adhered to card.

Stamped the Menorah inking with the black on the candlestick area and Distress "Wild Honey" on the flames, stamped, and clear embossed.

Stamped the sentiment using the mowed lawn all over and then here and there with "Barn Door", stamped and clear embossed.
